Accurate and beyond simple to use
I have Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. As a result, my pulse is highly variable from standing to sitting and depending on temperature. Not only that, but I have asthma and anxiety. Some days, with all the biofeedback I'm getting, it's hard to process what's coming from my body and what's in my head. It's incredibly helpful for me to be able to see a readout letting me know if my SpO2 is actually low or if I'm just anxious about something. No more "just in case" albuterol doses for me. It's also wonderful to be able to track my heart-rate and have an easy way to gauge when it's gone back into normal range from a spike.Pros: The instructions are VERY detailed and easy to follow. I work in healthcare and have used a variety of pulse oximeters. They're not always as intuitive as this one (i.e. those awful clunky red things that have six buttons and none of them are labeled with anything helpful). The parameters are variable for your own personal needs (my SpO2 is often low and my heart rate is often high, so it's nice to not get an alarm every single time I use the device). The size is compact and easy to throw in a backpack or purse. The view is changeable for comfort (and it's easy to do so since there's only the one button). I haven't heard the alarm yet so I can't speak to that, but the tone for the pulse tracker is pretty unobtrusive. So that's reassuring.Cons: Seems very sleek and shiny, which at face value is wonderful, but in the long term makes me wish the product came with a case. The lanyard is great and all, but it would be more handy to protect the product (I think) than be able to hang it off something.Overall? An amazing product and I'm glad I bought it. I can't speak to the durability or battery life since I only purchased it recently, but so far it's wonderful.

Has performed well in the field.
Use this for in home health assessments. Plethysmograph feature has been a nice feature to augmenting rhythm assessment and a visual confirmation of rate and “signal” strength. Typically place on opposite side of blood pressure cuff-seems to inhibit patient fidgeting. Saves time in allowing exam multitasking particularly when checking orthostatics. No issue with fit, durability or legibility. The ability to change the orientation of the display is helpful for self and the curious patient. Have found it helpful in augmenting a patient’s understanding of a rhythm issue when present. I have had no reason to doubt accuracy.

Sensitive - Accurate - Durable - Great Features
Sensitivity - Hold your hand still. Prop it against something, if needed. Moving your finger quickly while testing can cause momentary loss of signal.Accuracy - I compared this unit to my primary care physician's (PCP) office device and a unit used in our local hospitals, emergency department (ED). The oxygen level on this device was 1% lower than both their readings. The pulse reading was 2 beats per minute (BPM) faster than the PCP office and 1 BPM slower than the ED.Durability - I dropped it once (3 feet) onto a ceramic tile floor without damage.Features - My favorite thing about this unit is the readings on the screen rotate with the push of a button. Nothing structural moves. Turned one way the patient can read the screen. Turn the opposite way a healthcare professional can read it. It can be turned other ways to allow visibility from other directions. The screen is well organized and large enough for me to read. There are multiple, well lit, colors to aid in quickly finding the reading you're looking for.Recommend; Casematix Water Resistant Fingertip Pulse Oximeter Black Travel Case. See my Review.

One Of The Best Pulse Oximeters I Have Used Outside Of The Hospital!
This is a great and accurate Pulse Oximeters that I have ever purchased. We have two and of the two this one is exactly calibrated with the machine at our Doctors office. It works very fast and it has way more features than the one we initially purchased. We paid twice as much for the first one.Overall this is a great and quick reading pulse oximeter for a very good price and it is feature loaded. You can switch the direction of the reading depending on how you look at your finger to make the numbers upright. That is something our older model did not do. It also has an alarm on it that you can turn off or on. I do not think you can get a better deal than this unit. I purchased a Resperonics or Phillips model that was the most expensive and inaccurate model I have ever owned. I returned it to the medical supply store.

Works Well
This is an excellent pulse oximeter ane works very well and is easy to read with 5 different viewing screen angles. When I first got it worked well, then for a few days it seemed to be wildly inaccurate readings that made no sense. I didn't use it for a couple of weeks and it is now very accurate and I have gotten the same results from another device. If it continues to stay accurate over time I will change my review to 5 stars.

I wish I had three thumbs!
OMG! This is the best oximeter I have ever used! I have had several different brands and this one is the most reliable one I've ever used. Here are some specifics:The screen is bright (adjustable) and easy to read even in a well lit room. (without my glasses)Nice font with good screen resolutionSpring is strong enough to hold oximeter snuggly on your fingerReads my pulse and SpO2 when others do not (must be more sensitive)It has alarms you can set to beep when oxygen or pulse are outside limits YOU setReasonably priced and they even include a lanyard! If I had three thumbs I'd turn them all up for this oximeter!

Works as it should
After getting low readings on my watch sensor, I ordered this to see what my real oxygen readings were. This works perfectly and is very easy to use. The readings are consistent and match the readings I get at the doctor.
