Some very nice art pieces and a decent selection of cool pirate characters to choose from. A bit smaller than expected, but with the stands and a bright overhead light they look much better than many other pawns. Downside of the clear backgrounds- they do not stand out as much as the cheaper thick cardboard pawns, so I gave these 4 stars.

If you are concerned about how thin they are I can assure you they are more durable than I expected.Popping them out is very easy. No cutting needed.The art is great and uniform! Arcknight is the only company on the market doing the backside of their minis. The other companies just have the front of the character on both sides.With how many of these flat plastic minis themed packs there are it’s a win win. Very easy to store!!!I am 100% coming back for the DM Starter kit and more! These are just brilliant.

The actual material is just flimsy plastic. The bases however have a wavy insert that, while hard for assembly, makes the plastic stand on its own

Nice mix of pirates, male and female. Lots of good aquatic monsters. Would love to see a second set featuring Spaniards and French and I think this would also be an excellent way to portray ships in miniature form.

Wish it had more bases. Overall they are great

You only get 8 , so I knew I would be making my own but the 8 included will eventually wear the tab at the bottom of the mini.Minis are fine for the money, but as the title states the stands are lacking.

I was pretty disappointed by my purchase. Quality control is a major problem. As listed below-First I was only sent 7 bases instead of 8. Not the hugest deal, but it will limit the number of minis I can put out at once.Second, the minis are extremely thin. It doesn't really come across in the pictures, but you can easily tear them by hand. Which I did several times trying to remove them form their backing. There doesn't seem to have been a consistent depth to which the minis were cut out, so there was no consistency with how much effort was needed to remove them. Some popped right out, and some I basically had to tear out. I'll have to take scissors to some to remove extraneous packaging, and I tore at least 4 or 5 of them, one almost completely in half.I mean, it's still cheaper than buying 30 regular minis, so there is value for sure. But be aware that you are getting what you pay for, these are very cheaply made, fragile, and poorly manufactured and packaged.

Very colorful and clear artwork. Looking forward to bringing these to my next gaming session!
